This is Shakespeare & Co. Antiquarian Books, Paris and supposedly the most photographed bookstore in the world. Doesn’t the second picture make you want to have a sleepover in the bookshop??
In Porto, Portugal is one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world, Livraria Lello. Stunning, just stunning.
And this is Selexyz Bookstore in Maastricht, Holland. This beautiful bookshop is set in an old church, which explains the breathtaking architecture. The store won the Lensvelt de Architect Interior Prize 2007.
On the other side of the world, bookstore El Ateneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina is located in a building that was formerly a theatre and movie theatre. So is this what book heaven looks like? We are so in awe…
